Step 2: Boil Water
The easiest of all the steps, bring the water to a boil. To bring out the best of your Moringa Herbal Tea, keep the water at boiling temperature while brewing. Here we recommend to boil atleast 2 cups of water.
Step 3: Prepare Herb For Steeping
If you are using loose tea, crush all herbs and put them in a filter and place it in your teacup.
Crushing the herbs is key because it releases volatile oils and biochemical compounds, which provide the nutrients in the tea.
However to ensure the correct dosage and consistency in taste and flavour, Unica Agro has carefully portioned the Moringa brews in individual tea bags so that you enjoy the same goodness in every brew. It is also easy to carry when travelling or going to the office, your health kit is always in your pocket!
Step 4: Pour Hot Water
Pour boiling hot water on the brew mix.
Step 5: Steep Your Tea
Cover your teacup with another bowl or plate so that the steam doesn’t escape. This helps to retain the essential oils in your herbal tea. Yes… There are essential oils in your tea! you can see it as oil-like film floating in patches.
Steep time can vary based upon the kind of herb. For many tea leaves and flowers, ten minutes of steeping is ideal. If you’re employing a tougher herb like barks or berries, give twenty minutes to steep.
Our Moringa Herbal Tea bags require 7-10 minutes in the hot water, you can see the beautiful colours of the herbs slowly making their way into your cup.
Step 6: Give Strain To Brew
If you are using a teabag, simply squeeze the surplus water out of your tea and compost your bag or brew another cup by pouring more hot water, with it since you’ll sometimes get 2 cups of tea out of 1 bag. If you used a tea filter, simply take it out of your cup and compost the herb mix and tea leaves, or just use it once more.
Step 7: Relish Your Steaming Cup Of Brew
Once your tea has steeped sufficiently, check for the beautiful colour and if you can smell the desired flavours, serve and enjoy!
